Red vs Blue
What is RvB?
R-V-B is a long standing P-V-P institution that began back in 2007. The premise of RvB is two corporations, Red and Blue, which are constantly at war with eachother. You choose a side, join up and are welcome to get into action immediately.
A significant portion of the fighting in RvB takes place in frigate and cruiser size hulls there are ample opportunities to kill and use every type of ship.
We are currently operating in the Osnin's Constellation in the Everyshore region. Red HQ is in Halle and Blue HQ in Jurlesel.
RvB has only two rules. The first is no podding fellow RvB members and the second is no mid slot ECM jammers are allowed except on your own HQ. (Note: None of these rules apply in low sec, null sec or against 3rd party WTs).
So, Why join RvB?
The most appealing aspect of RvB is the target-rich environment of other pilots looking to get fights.
RvB provides pilots the opportunity to for anything from 1v1s, small gangs, to large fleets, free-for-alls, monthly brawls(imagine 50+ pilots with free cruisers going at it).
RvB offers an excellent ship replacement program to its pilots.
In RvB you won't be forced to log on to defend sov or camp a gate, you're welcome to log on as little or often as you like.
RvB has an open door policy, anybody is welcome to join and you're welcome to leave and come back as soon as you desire.
The pilots in RvB range from 2003 to 2011, you will be able to fight with and against veteran pilots as well as those brand new to the universe. So regardless of skill or wealth, you will be able to find fights suitable to you.
RvB provides pilots with the opportunity to get hundreds of kills each month without the strings of the typical corp.
New to PvP?
Whether you've been shooting asteroids for 5 years or finally got tired of playing your orc warrior in WOW RvB is the best place to get your first taste of PvP.
RvB does not force you to attend long classes, wait a month to jump through the hoops of our recruitment process, or follow a strict set of rules.
Instead we offer new pilots to learn through the most effective way, experience.
There are plenty of veteran pilots who will give you all the 1v1s you want and at the same time provide you with all the fits, tips, pointers, and help that you will need to become a spaceship killing machine.

Lots of action as of late. Plenty of Reds and Blues and even a good number of WTs to shoot but we're always looking for more people to shoot!

We just had an ongoing fight of reshipping that lasted for more than an hour where more than 100 Ships BCs, BSs, etc were killed. Only in RvB.

Do you guys also welcome high SP pvp'ers btw? As it seems that you're advertising strongly about the fact that newbs are so welcome etc :P.
We have a lot of high SP players that are quite skilled in PVP. Somehow RvB has a reputation of being a bunch of PVP idiots flying around in noob ships killing each other but that is definitely not the case. If you are a high or low SP character RvB will provide you with solo and fleet fights that definitely meet your standards and probably kick your ass from time to time too

Today was an epic day for RvB, logged on and immediately got into a fight with about 40 pilots. We met up right before the emergency reboot for round 2. All in all I lost 4 ships and killed around 30. Logged on a bit later for the Babushka brawl where we all start in BSs and work our way down. Was a good slug fest and my hull tanked domi made my proud....as well as laugh.

There is not an FAQ but if you join our public channel there are A LOT of people who will help you with any questions you may have. You can also shoot me a mail and I will help you out with any questions.
In terms of isk. You probably should stop mining altogether, but if you're going to keep mining don't use a burst get a hulk. You can also fit T1 frigs and they will be really cheap. The ship replacement program pertains to BCs and Cruisers only but the corporations also provide those that need them with free t1 frigate hulls as well.

Today we concluded our 3v3 weekend sponsored by Somer lotteries. We had a lot of good teams come out to compete in both the frig and cruiser 3v3s where there were billions worth of prizes for both tourneys. IT was a blast!

There is room for pretty much whatever role you desire. There are a lot of guys who fly T1 frigates with TDs, etc.
Solo PVP is allowed in RvB. Generally if you are flying something reasonable I would even say it is encouraged as there are various prizes for the top solo killers each month/all-time. The only issue arises when you're flying solo in a BS killing all of the frigates your mates had planned on fighting, then you might find yourself under fire from both dies!

RvB Ganked Night #1 was an epic success. We ran two fleets full of rifter hulls and fought larger kinds to come out with the isk efficiency! Only in RvB do you get to kill T3s with logi support in a gang of more than 50 rifters. GREAT SUCCESS!
